 | | This is a DVD creator; nothing more, nothing less. Taking this into consideration, I was very optimistic about this program. The first thing that impressed me was the 'DVD menu template' option. However, I was soon bored by this option, because it featured only six templates and I couldn't import any other. The options are very limited. For the output video file, you can set the format (PAL or NTSC), the quality (low, medium, or high), and the video aspect (4:3, 16:9). It seems that you can't burn dual layer DVDs although they are very common nowadays.
When I was testing the program, I tried to burn a movie onto a DVD at high quality, but as soon as I started the burn process, an error appeared. The only available button was 'OK', so I clicked that button believing that the burn process will stop, but it continued. A few seconds later another error appeared, 'dvdbiuld.dll has encountered a problem...'. Again, I thought that the program will end the burning process there, but I was wrong again because it was running as if nothing had happened. Then the disk was nicely ejected, as if the burning process was done. Then the funniest error appeared, with the title 'Oops, something wasn't as expected!' and the content 'At least one error occurred'.
The user interface is not too bad. However, what is the use of a good interface if the program doesn't work properly?
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: It's unstable and the price is high.
In conclusion: What seemed to be an interesting program, proved to be nothing more than another useless program.
