 | | Delicious Address Book is an easy to use program, which can help you create and manage an address book. It can also remind you about your contacts' birthdays, provided that you leave it running in your system tray. You can even use it to maintain a collection of bookmarks or of notes. Other nice features include the ability to password protect the details of certain contacts, and the attachments' support.
You can attach any type of file to any of the contacts you create in the address book. However, if you wish, you can select a picture and associate it to a contact. Whenever you select the contact, the program also displays his or her picture.
I mostly like the fact that the program fully supports drag-and-drop. You can move your contacts from one category to another very easily, just by selecting their names and dragging them to another category. Delicious Address Book uses a tree to display the categories and the contacts. The details of the currently selected contact are displayed on the right side of the application's main window, using a tabbed interface.
Pluses: Printing the details of any contact from your address book is supported.
Drawbacks / flaws: The search feature provides weird results. Even though I didn't add any bookmarks, the program displays links to certain web sites. Soft32.com is not included in their results, so I am very unhappy with this error.
In conclusion: The publisher states that Delicious Address Book should change your life. It didn't change my life, but maybe you'll have more luck. However, I consider Delicious Address Book to be a pretty good application for maintaining a list of contacts, bookmarks, and notes.
