Bored of your desktop? Maybe you need something to make it change. How about making the icons dynamic? Icon Toy is a tool that can do all this things. You can animate the icons in different styles like: - clock (all the icons will aligned as an analog clock showing the exact hour); - circle (it creates a circle); - around (all the icons will be positioned around the desktop); - cross (creates a cross in the middle of the screen);
Pointing on an icon will make it to move and blink and the name of the icon will be shown as a pop-up. This will remove the classic text of desktop icons. You can even change the font color and background color.
The application will always be active in your tray bar and with a right click you can see all settings of it.
Pluses: animation of icons; the layouts.
Drawbacks / flaws: it has no interface
In conclusion: Cool application but who needs it?
