| | One week ago I configured a LAN with my neighbours. Just to play some games. But after two days of playing we decided to let the LAN, for further usage. So we need a chat software. Something very simple for only five users. I found it. Very simple, tiny with a single chat room. This is Fomine LAN Chat.
An instant messaging software for LAN networks. You don't need to make any settings to the network, or in the application. Automatically it will find all the users from the LAN and it will interpret them as chat participants.
All the chat will run in a single window. It will list the chat participants, the chat messages and the outgoing messages. You can also set your status online, away or disconnected.
That's all folks!
Pluses: simple as it can be; no need for settings
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Only for little LAN networks.
