| | This program can monitor the free space on your hard disks. It can verify your disks as often as you like. The refresh interval can be configured between one second and several hours. The user can also configure the minimum amount of free space that he or she wants to be available on the hard disks. The downside is that you cannot configure minimum free space requirements for each partition independently. You can, however, set the program to only display warnings about the partitions you choose.
Abaiko Disk Space Monitor can be set to run at Windows startup, ensuring continuous monitoring. This is very useful, because, in my opinion, this software should be used mostly on servers, by system administrators. On these kind of systems, free space is usually very important.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: The user interface has some minor bugs. For example, you can enter 0 in the check interval checkbox. Also, the memory usage seemed a bit high for such a simple program.
In conclusion: If you are not satisfied with the free space monitoring that comes with Windows XP, you could use this program.
