Parchisi is a simple board game where 2-4 players must move their pawns around the home spot. The game is played with two dices. If get a double you can move the double of the sum of the dices and through the dices next time once again. There is a restriction called 3 double penalty. If you 3 times doubles you have to return the pawn to the starting pawn. If you land on another player's pawn then you send that player back to their starting position. If you have two pawns on the same spot, the other cannot land on your pawns.
You can play the game offline with bots or online. For playing online you have to dowload and install TAMS11 lobby. This is very easy to do because everytime you start the game it will ask you if you want to play offline or online. The application looks like a browser. On the left side you got a tree file where you find all the games made by TAMS11. Just double-click on one of them and you will enter in the lobby of that game.Now you can see how many players are on that lobby and with whom you can play. Just push the host game button an d that's it.
You can play only the games that you have already installed. If you want to play others you have to download them from the lobby.
The problem is the connection. If you are connected to the internet through a router you have to configure it otherwise you will not connect to the game even though the lobby is running.
Pluses: free;
Drawbacks / flaws: difficult to set the connection
In conclusion: They should work more on their network infrastructure, otherwise they won't be able to create a big community.
