 | | DSpeech is a simple and free TTS (Text To Speech) program. It can read aloud the written text and can pronounce the sentences with intonation.
You can choose the text, which is recommendet to be in english and you can set what line to be read. Using a system of tags, you can change the intonation by introducing pause between the words or speeding or slowing the read function. You can even introduce interjections between the words, to make the speech more real.
It can read also in other languages, but the letters will be spelled like in english, so you won't understand too much.
The software has also integrated the volume command, the speed of read function and the pitch. You can select output quality of the sound and even save the audio file of speech in wav or mp3 format.
A good about it is that it spends minimal resources.
Pluses: you can save the speech for further use; intonation for english text; spends minimal resources; the tags system
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: One of the best TTS programs.
