Do you remember Arkanoid? For the ones that still are fans of the old Arkanoid, they should take in consider also this new appearence.
Action Ball is a brick game with an actual graphic design. The overview is much more an izometric one than a 'bird eye'.
The game is based on the same idea to break all the bricks from a level with a help of a ball and a lot of power-ups. Try not to lose the ball outside the screen. The new thing about this game is the level boss and the robots that are trying to repair or add some bricks. For every 15 smashed robots you will get a life. The fight with the boss levels is much more difficult because they fight back with rockets and other guns.
The power-ups give you the ability to shoot the bricks, to slow the ball the launch rockets, etc. These power-ups make the game more fun to play.
Try it and you will remember the old games from Spectrum or Commodore. A game must be fun, and Action Ball Deluxe has all the ingredients to be.
Pluses: power-ups; the robots the level boss; you can change the resolution up to 1024x768
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Action Ball Deluxe is a new fashioned Arkanoid.
