 | | Convert between WAV, FLAC, MPC, MP3, WMA and OGG formats with 1st Multiformat Converter and CD Ripper. You can choose to use the incorporated Wizard to complete operations, in case your are a rookie, or you can use the standard modus operandi to set advanced settings for the output files. You can select MP3 frequency, bitrate, or variable bitrate, stereo or mono, WAV frequency, mode and bits, WMA codec, frequency, bitrate, mode, etc. Tracks can be previewed in the inbuilt player. You can rip CDs to all six audio formats mentioned above and you can choose to prelisten conversion and set quality settings for OGG, MP3, WAV and WMA files. You can copy tags from the CD and save ID3v2 tags for MP3s. You can also connect to CDDB and download track information. Pluses: You have the option of batch conversion of files, or you can simply select the folder and all the files within that folder will be converted into a format of your choice.

In conclusion: A very good, audio converter and CD ripper, and the very good thing is that you choose to rip CDs to one of the 6 available sound formats.
