 | | 'Follow Me' is a small program that shows you how to place your fingers on a keyboard, on a block-flute, or on a guitar, in order to play the correct notes. Thus, you can learn how to play without reading the notes.
You can choose to play one of the songs in the list or you can change the octave and the key of that song. A track can be looped or paused. You can also choose a metronome or drums to keep your tempo.
The idea was great, if the playlist had been updated to some modern songs or the ability to play MIDI files was implemented. If you want to exercise with your keyboard, you should use the metronome option and turn off the drums. This way, it would be much easier to hear the song and keep the rhythm of the melody.
Pluses: The loop and pause options, as well as the use of steps in learning a song.
Drawbacks / flaws: A short list of songs. It has no new or modern songs. You can't change the tempo or modify the melody volume.
In conclusion: If you received, as a gift, a keyboard or a guitar and you don’t know how to play it, 'Follow Me' might help you. On the other hand, if you are a musician or you intend to learn thoroughly how to play an instrument, don’t bother with this program.
