Malware Immunizer 1.5

Malware Immunizer is a security utility which apparently scans your system for all types of malware: spyware, adware, worms, trojans, etc. After finalizing the system scan, Malware Immunizer presents you with a list of items (system components) that need immunization and prompts you to select and immunize the items you want to secure.

Actually, the list does not contain all the malware found on your computer; it is actually a database containing malware that might damage your files; therefore, it only spooks you. Anyway, the program recommends you to use your antivirus/antispyware applications to scan your computer and remove any malware. Since most of the antivirus/firewall solutions contain components meant to block any malware, I find this program a little bit overrated.

Pluses: It includes a 'junk file' cleaner.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: Not of much use, in my opinion, since you need anyway antivirus/antispyware software. In this case, it appears to be a redundant software to install and run.
