 | | Bee Icons allows you to change any icon of your OS (desktop, start menu, drives, folders, files), quick and easy. You can change all icons at once by applying a theme of your choice, or just an individual icon. Many cool themes are available on the producer's web site, and they are free to download, so you can have any theme you like. But first, you have to register the program before you can replace your current theme with a new one.
You can download a new theme package from the Internet to your desktop, for instance, and then drag and drop it onto the main window of the program, to open and apply it. Very convenient! Bee Icons supports many icon theme formats, like *.bit and *.bip (proprietary formats), *.eit (E-Icons Theme) and *.iconset (Style XP). You may even use IconPackager's themes if you first convert them to a format this program can read, using a free utility called Icon Translate, also available for download.
You have the possibility to create your own icon theme, and for that, Bee Icon will gather pictograms from anywhere in your computer into one icon library file (*.icl) and will generate a preview of the icons used in your theme.
Pluses: It supports many icon theme formats.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Bee Icons is a very good choice when it comes to changing the system's default icons, with more stylish ones.
