| | 'Zoner GIF Animator' is a very efficient and easy-to-learn program, which can create and edit GIF animations. To create GIF files, you can import GIF, JPG, PCD, MAC, PNG, TIF, TGA, BMP, DIB, RLE, ICO, WPG, BMI, and PCX bitmap files, WMF or EMF vectors, as well as FLI, FLIC, and AVI animations.
When creating and editing, you can use a large variety of tools, such as locking the animation borders, having a fixed count or an infinite loop, adding comments, using redraw methods, customizing the transparency type and color, dithering or trimming frames, as well as removing the comment blocks or the titles. The layout of the animation can be aligned, vertically or horizontally centered, or spaced evenly. You can also choose to apply one of the eight IPL filters, generate textures, or apply image distortion effects.
Pluses: You can preview the result in the internal viewer or in an external browser (custom addition of browsers is available). The frames can also be edited in an external bitmap editor like 'Paint'.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: A very good GIF animation creation and editing program. It has a nice and intuitive interface with plenty of features and it's easy to use.
