 | | If you want the download the content of an entire Website in one sitting, you can use Offline Downloader. This program allows you to strip a Website of pretty much all the text, video, audio, images, programs, or archives.
The process is very simple. You can manually enter an URL or you can paste it from the clipboard and then start the data extraction process. The program will display also a site map on the left hand side of the screen, while on the right hand side you can visualize the content of each item. After downloading the content of a Website, you can view it offline, but you can also view the Website online and verify what you are about to download.
The program is very easy to use and it has many options that you can choose from, if you're interested in a specific content. For example, if you are only interested in the images from a Website, you can set the program to download only images by deselecting download programs, archives, or multimedia content. If the list of image formats doesn't feature a particular graphic file, you can always edit the list of file extensions.
Among other options, you can specify the links level limit, use a proxy, or set filters for the file types hosted on the selected Websites.
Pluses: The ability of online/offline viewing of Websites, the 'Search' option, the ability to load links from HTML or TXT files, and the ability of saving projects.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: This is a very good website content downloader and offline viewer.
