ToDo Today Publisher's Description | ToDo Today gives an overview of all appointments and actions which are due today. It works well for those who are following David Allen's Getting Things Done (GTD) philosophy but it's use is not limited to this. Although is assumed that the user will be entering and editing tasks and appointments in another program such as Outlook, the Palm Desktop or another third party program, changes to tasks can be made in ToDo Today. The software reads and writes directly to the Palm ToDo and Datebook applications. No information is stored elsewhere so all changes made will be available immediately in the Palm built-in applications and in the desk-top applications via hotsync. Also, unlike many other third party task viewers available, ToDo Today will read directly from the enhanced Tasks database on some Palm machines such as the Tungsten T5 or E2 allowing repeated tasks to be understood and manipulated. The main features of the software are: - Gives an overview of all Appointments and Tasks (dated and undated) due today.
- Reads directly from the Palm built-in databases.
- Understands the enhanced Tasks database on machines such as the Palm Tungsten T5.
- Full support for the larger 320x480 screen in portrait and landscape modes.
- Tasks can be edited (Task, Due Date, Priority, Category, Privacy), deleted or marked complete.
- Can view and edit notes assigned to a task.
- View all details and notes for appointments.
- Task filtering to restrict number of tasks shown.
- Support for 5-way navigator on Palm machines.
- Configure colours for tasks and appointments.
- Read and use colour information from the DateBk5 application.
- Save views for quick access to commonly required items.
