WindSpring Mobile V2.0 Publisher's Description | WindSpring Mobile increases effective Pocket PC PDA Flash card storage and performance, without the need for increased hardware. Unlike compression, PDA application data can be fully manipulated in its miniaturized MDF format, without the need for decompression. This leads to a significant increase in PDA memory capacity without additional hardware cost; the ability to seek, search, edit, display and transmit mobile application files using WindSpring's miniaturized MDF format; transfer and storage of very large files, currently impossible with many PDA applications; and operation of very large applications within constrained PDA memory availability. WindSpring Mobile downloads and installs in seconds, assists PDA users to avoid expensive future PDA hardware upgrades by reducing the footprint application data by 30 - 75%, and will extend the useful life of existing devices that might otherwise not be able to incorporate additional storage. WindSpring Mobile works out-of-the-box with all Microsoft Pocket Office applications & ActiveSync, Adobe PDF and Sybase Lite. WindSpring Mobile also operates with a range of GPS navigation applications including Microsoft Streets and Trips 2004 and 2005, ESRI ArcPad 6.0.3, Pharos Ostia 7 and applications using Telcontar’s Rich Map Format.
