| | Phrase Express Autotext is a small application designed to process your keyboard input as a typing process and help you increase your typing speed with the help of an autotext feature.
You can compare the program to MS Office 'Autofill' feature, but this program can help you do a lot more. First, you can organize your frequently used words, phrases, and salutations into folders. Thus, you can create templates, which can be used in letters, emails, or any other text you are creating. In order to automatically fill-in the desired autotext, you can strike a hotkey, choose autotext from a pop-up menu, or type short keywords that will be expanded as you type.
You can use the Windows clipboard to create new autotext that will be remembered by 'PhraseExpress'. You can use the program to import or export text phrases or even work with macros. The program automatically creates a backup of the phrase file, so that you can reestablish your phrase database, in case you accidentally deleted or lost words or phrases.
The program can be very useful and time saving. You can use it in order to complete online forms, without worrying about your browser's safety level. You can simply disable the autocomplete feature of your browser and let 'PhraseExpress' do the job.
Pluses: The program has a section where you can visualize your typing statistics. If you input an hourly rate, the program will calculate your earnings of the present day and a total of earnings. You can use it on a network. The help section and the tutorials make it very easy to set up and use the program.

| Stay Away From Phrase Express.
The program fires run away macros that act like a virus. It did not work as claimed. We had to un-install the program in the middle of a hectic work day.
The vendor will not refund our purchase and no tech support available. We were stuck with useless $219.00 purchase. They are not fair.
There are wonderful other macro programs out there. Jitbit Macro recorder, HOTKEY Master, Workspace Macro Pro, Automation anywhere and many others. Last word: Stay away from Phrase Express. Good Luck.
