WinMobile AES combines AES (Advanced Encryption Standard - Rijndael) cryptographic algorithm with HMAC-SHA1 for authentication and key derivation from a password and a salt according to RFC2898 specification.
WinMobile AES implements "Salt Value" as a pseudo-random sequence of bytes that is combined with the encryption password to create encryption and authentication keys.
WinMobile AES provides authentication to ensure that the contents of an encrypted file have not been inadvertently changed or deliberately tampered with since they were first encrypted.
WinMobile AES implements password verifier to cope with huge files and enable fast verification on the input password.
