Steganography literally means 'covered writing' and it seems that it became already a science. It's the science of hiding the existence of secret messages. The most common methods were invisible ink, microdot, digital signature, covert channel and spread spectrum communication. From the point of view of this software, the steganography works by replacing bits of useless or unused data in regular files such as graphics, sound, text, HTML, or even floppy disks, with bits of different, invisible information.
The interface of the application is very intuitive therefore in 3 clicks you can hide your information. Just select the desired 'carrier file' (which will hide the information), select what kind of information you want to hide and push the 'hide' button. After you save the new file, you can erase the one you wanted to hide. The unhide process goes in the same way but vice versa. It is said that steganography sometimes is used when encryption is not permitted. This means that you can even encrypt these steganographic files, meaning that the person that wants to find your secrets, after the decryption will still not find the secret.
Pluses: It is very easy and fast to use.

More Cryptography Then Steganography. Much like must of the applications claiming to encapsulate "Steganography" this application is only scratch on the surface of it's true meaning. It takes 3 clicks to "Hide" your file and only 2 clicks to reveal it (In Note Pad). For anyone trying to read or even discover your files it would be extremely easy. Firstly, load the carrier into any text reader to see the additional bytes of information secondly if a user was to hide a large file, lets say 5Mb in a small picture, lets say 100x100 Bmp it would look very bizarre to an inspector having a small (29Kb) file suddenly consume 5Mb of hard disk space. This software does hide information, or files within other files... Is it detectable? even on the most basic level "Yes, absolutely". Is the information crackable? I don't know, from my experience most "Byte edited" information can be read using a "Hex-Editor" or "Bit Cruncher". As I said this application is more cryptography then steganography. Personally, it's great for a bit of fun, but there's no way I would entrust this software with my credit card details.
