No physical (Disc) contact is needed. Tested over Layer 3 Switched 100 Mbit, 10 Mbit and slow 64 Kbit WAN Routed Networks.You can Manage wih the integrated Remote Service, the Remote Maschine''s Process List (like Task Manager), the Registry and the File System, no NETWORK Folder is needed . To install a Service, Browse a Network for Win32 Maschines select then one (double click them) or more targets and press connect, or type one target IP Adress in and press connect, also you can select "from File", if you have your Hosts in a ASCII txt File (one IP Adress per Line) then press connect. After this you get the Login Page, here can you change the username, default is Administrator, you can type in your password, or if you have to Manage a large number of Hosts with different passwords, you can press the "PW File" Button and select your password File, must be ASCII txt File with clear text passwords one per Line. Then you can change the Listen Port from the integrated Service that will be copied and started on the Remote Host, also you can define the Start Type from any Service and you can select a Custumer Remote Service. Note this must be a Win32 Programm writen as Service (like a U*X Deamon). At the Login Page have also a "Login only" CheckBox, if you check this, WRC only login on the Remote Host, but not copy or start any Service. This allows you only to Manage the File System from the Remote Host. Press the "OK" Button starts the Process, this mean the copy and start works like a Batch Job, if you selected more Hosts with password from File, WRC comes back and the End with a Status Message, for more details what WRC does, you can look in the Logfile. In the Manage Pages can you select then the Remote Hosts, where WRC successfully installs the Remote Service.
