| | Audio Editor Pro is a powerful audio file processing application which allows you to edit MP2, MP3, WMA, OGG, RAW, WAV, CDA, VOX files. When audio files are loaded, the program displays a waveform image of the file. Editing consists of cutting, pasting, pasting items from other audio files, inverting, reversing track and inserting silence. As for transformation effects, we may mention: expander, phaser, amplification, vibrato, time stretch etc. You can apply six several filter to enhance an audio track and you can mix a track from copied data of from files. You can also record audio using all the devices supported by your sound card. And in case you need more, you can also convert files and rip CDs with the additional applications.
Pluses: You can preview the selected files right from the "open file" dialog with the inbuilt player. Audio Editor Pro supports mp3 VBR codec and Windows Media 9 format. Supports ID3 tag and CDDB.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: A very good application for beginners or users with less complex needs. Very nice interface and easy to use.
