WingX for the Pocket PC Publisher's Description | WingX keeps a database of the aircraft you fly, their type, year, and other useful information. By associating an aircraft with a type, WingX uses its pre-defined W&B information when calculating W&B. Ever wondered what your weight and balance was when a passenger didn't mention an extra bag, or you found the gas tanks full instead of only filled to the tabs? WingX allows you to simply enter information and it graphically displays the W&B information. WingX immediately red-flags over-gross, out-of-CG, and exceeded baggage limit conditions. Route planning is easy. You enter the airport, VOR, NDB, intersections and fixes, and WingX calculates the distances between points, the magnetic or true course, your Estimated Time Enroute (ETE) and your Estimated Time Arrival (ETA). You can configure WingX to display any number of these columns WingX will also calculate Wind Correction Angles if you enter the wind direction and speed.
