MapAdvisor 3.0 GPS Edition displays real-time GPS data on an aerial map on your Palm PDA.
MapAdvisor transforms your PDA into a high-tech tool for geocaching, treasure hunting, hiking, and travel. MapAdvisor will let you use highly accurate satellite images to get to wherever you're going as quickly and efficiently as possible.
MapAdvisor displays aerial photos and topographic images of terrain. You can easily find places, geocaches, waypoints, landmarks by using aerial photo images rather than regular maps. Aerial images are perfect tools for orientation.
Geocachers who have geocache GPX files can take advantage of MapAdvisor by importing those files. This way, they get very detailed information about geocaches on a map that simplifies searching for them. Through this procedure it is possible to get information about what the geocache contains, when and by whom it was found last, and obtain clues how to find it.
With external GPS, you can easily position yourself on a map in real-time. MapAdvisor can record tracks using external GPS data. At the end of a trip, you may save the completed track as a GPX file and view it on a PC later.
New MapAdvisor 3.0 comes equipped with a built-in map manager that lets you rapidly organize and access all of your maps by directly opening/deleting new 8-level zoom maps on card OR opening/renaming/deleting old 2-level zoom single file maps in RAM or on card.
