VITO MapManager Publisher's Description VITO MapManager is a FREE for non-commercial use program for a desktop PC, running under WinMe/2000/XP, designed as a tool for the VITO SmartMap users.

MapManager allows a user to make a digital map from various data sources: ESRI Shape File format, scanned maps in the JPEG format, and the tracks recorded by SmartMap. These source data will be transformed to geographic coordinate system and can be saved like a high-performance color digital map of user defined content.
Thus, you can scan and prepare color vector electronic maps for PocketPC.
It is a convenient instrument for handling large archives of electronic maps. MapManager imports maps in the ESRI Shape file format, and converts them to VTM format, which is specifically developed by VITO Technology to accelerate the work with maps on Pocket PC with its limited resources.
