GpsTools is an easy way to include common tasks when developing mobile GPS and mapping applications for Pocket PC.
GpsTools provides easy access to GPS position, speed and satellite information without any knowledge of low level GPS protocols. Geographic coordinates can be converted between most coordinate systems including UTM, WGS84, NAD27 and NAD83. Raster maps can be defined and used to draw objects on such as icons, lines and rectangles. The maps can also be connected to the GPS. You can draw on multiple layers, the map can be zoomed and rotated, and more...
To get started a rich set of samples are included in Visual Basic, C#, C++ and java script. GpsTools is available for Windows and Pocket PC, as ActiveX and .NET components.
