| | | | | Machinist ToolBox PDA for PocketPC Publisher's Description v4.35 Update (12/12/05) ---------------------- ·New build to correct problems with Option/Radio Buttons on WM5.
The 'Groups' Property of the Option/Radio Button, as implemented in the Microsoft Foundation Classes and Intrinsic Controls for Windows Mobile 5, does not work properly. This problem can cause any unit running WM5 to lock up when attempting to use grouped Option/Radio Buttons depending upon the MFC and Intrinsic Control versions present on the device.
Key features of MFC, that were present in previous versions, have been dropped. Microsoft is aware of this issue but choose to break backward compatibility in favor of forcing developers to adopt Visual Studio 2005 and MFC 8.0 .
We choose, on principal, not to be bullied into using their development tools. All Option/Radio Button Grouping is now coded explicitly.
