| | | | | Home Supervisor Publisher's Description Introduction: Home Supervisor along with the CM11A Computer Interface, manufactured by X10 Inc., give you the opportunity to control your household lights and appliances with the programs you create in Home Supervisor. With its event recorder, Home Supervisor monitors, records and displays the event log of other remote devices sending X10 signals such as Occupancy/Motion Sensors, Keyless remote systems and other Timers or Controllers. Hardware Requirements: - Home Supervisor is intended to be run on Pocket PC devices having Pocket PC, Pocket PC 2002, or Windows Mobile 2003 operating systems.
- In addition to the Pocket PC, you'll also need a CM11A Computer Interface manufactured by X10 Incorporated. The CM11A provides the communication interface between the PocketPC and targeted receiver modules. The CM11A Interface is also included in the ACTIVEHOME CK11A Home Automation System manufactured by X10 Incorporated. These devices are available at many home electronic stores/websites.
- Also required is your device's serial cable with the 9 pin D shell connector on one end. If connecting to the Pocket PC's COM1 port via its DIN 9 interface cable, you may have to use a DIN 9 null modem between the Pocket PC's and CM11A's DIN 9 serial connections. If you're using a Serial Card adapter, the null modem may not be required however the comm port number would most likely be changed (refer to the Adapter's manufacturer for the comm port number assignment).
Home Supervisor Operation: With Home Supervisor, you can manually set brightness levels or turn on/off lamp modules or turn on/off appliance modules. You can write Timer programs then download them into the CM11A's built in controller. You can also write timed or event driven macros that run from your Pocket PC. Trial Software Summary: Use our Trial Software of Home Supervisor to acquaint yourself with the manual and programmable interfaces. The trial software can also be used to test communication between your Pocket PC and the CM11A computer interface. The trial software will function for twenty days. However only house code A is enabled. In the purchased software, all 16 house and unit codes are available. | | | | | Download Home Supervisor | Screenshots
