This software can output all kinds of barcodes, depending on the text you want to encode. You've seen barcodes for sure in any shop. Well, each barcode is the result of encoding a number or text, which identifies each product you buy. Monterey Barcode Creator is suitable for any type of business, giving you various options about encoding barcodes.
Many popular numeric and alphanumeric barcode formats are supported, including those used by the US Post Office. All you have to is to select your preffered bar code style, enter the desired item's number or name and a bar code will automatically be created. You have the option to save the barcode in Monterey proprietary format, or you can export it as EMF, BMP, GIF, TIF, PNG, JPG. You can also zoom or print the barcode.
Printing barcodes is supported on over 1500 types of paper. If the label paper you are using can not be found in the database, you can define your own using the program's intuitive interface. Also, you can define a template, which will be used for all barcodes created afterwards.
Pluses: The barcode generated can contain barcode, human readable text or digits and any comment.
Drawbacks / flaws:I tried to modify the encoding using the keyboard after the barcode was generated and I realized that the barcode didn't change automatically. If you use the mouse this function works.
