| DataSafeS60 is a small shareware program, which allows easy access to secret data. Everybody knows the problem that you have a lot of PINs, passwords, user names and other secret data, but you cannot bear all in mind. So you often use the same password for many things, but the security is gone, or you write everything down, but this is not recommended to do with PIN or TANs. | | | Because of this situation I wrote this application for the Nokia Series 60 phones (7650,3650 and N-Gage). The data is encrypted with the password you choose. | | | DataSafe uses the Twofish encryption algorithm. DataSafeS60 data is fully compatible to the data created with DataSafe9210 on the Nokia Communicator. | |
Starting DataSafe the first time you have to choose a password. This is used to encrypt your data. Choose a password with min. 7 characters to get enough security!
Create Categories for your secret data, do it with the options menu.
Each Category can now contain up to 1kb of data.
Switch to the editor with pressing the Rocker key (OK).
In the editor view you can set the category to read only, this prevents you to delete something by accident. And scrolling in this editor is then easier, because you can scroll then whole pages.
Switching the view again to the Category view simply press the rocker key.
After a 2 minutes doing nothing Datasafe locks the data to prevent other having access to the data if Datasafe was not closed.
If you want to by this programm you must enter the IMEI of your phone (press *#06# to get) then the registration code will be automaticly generated by handango.
NOTE for purchasing Datasafe:
Enter as Symbian ID the IMEI of you phone. (press *#06# at the phone to get the IMEI)
Do not use any additional characters, only the 15 digits, then the code will be calculated immediately. | | | | |
