Aarons Ringtones for the Treo650, Treo 600, and Treo300 Publisher's Description | NOW VERSION 1.1 WITH EASY WEB BASED LOADING The trial version here contains eight out of the 50 tones that come in the full version. These are fully usable as is (using Ringo or another ringtone manager), on your Handspring Treo 300. These also work on the new Treo 650 and 600. Both the Trial and full versions contain the ringtones in PDB format for use with ringtone managers such as Ringo, HoHo or Monkeyringer, and in a separate file as individual midi files for use with the built in software on the Treo600/650 . A README file is also included with info on how to use the ringtones. In the full version you will find themes such as Battlestar Gallactica, the Muppet Show, Raiders of the Lost Ark, I Love Lucy and more.The three Pop/Rock sets feature such nuggets as Day Tripper, Great Balls of Fire, Johnny B. Good, Layla, Oh Pretty Woman, Purple Haze, Wipeout and many more. In Jazz we have the Peanuts Theme (Linus and Lucy), two versions of Take 5, and some nuggets from Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass.Last but not least, in Miscellaneous you will find such favorites as the Disney Main Street Electrical Parade, the William Tell Overture (Lone Ranger) and the Star Wars Disco theme. All these tones have been heavily optimized so that they will NOT cause soft resets common with some of the other tones being made available out there. They are also specially selected parts of the songs that are maximized for loudness and recognizability. For the Treo300, you need a third party ringtone manager such as Ringo to use ANY ringtones other than the ones that come on the phone. For the Treo600, a manager is built in to the phone but there are also third party managers available. | | | | |
