 Safely store you passwords in one place. A simple and user-friendly program to manage all your usernames and passwords. Your passwords, credit cards and more, secure, convenient and portable.
ElitePassword is an easy-to-use tool that lets you store and arrange all your passwords, user IDs, and related information in a tree form. The program saves this information in encrypted data file which is protected by a password. So, the only thing you need to remember is the password for the file. ElitePassword can also generate random passwords with specified parameters (length, used characters, etc.). You can find any stored information using the incremental search feature.
Main features - Hierarchical data structure. You can arrange up to 700 of records using the nested folders. All records are represented in a tree form (Tree View control).
- Strong encryption algorithm. The program encrypts data records using DES (USA Government Data Encryption Standard) algorithms. So, unauthorized access to the records is practically impossible. The strength of the encryption is 128 bit for the registered version of the program and 32 bit for the unregistered.
- Incremental search. You can easily find a record by entering a substring into the search field.
- Password generator allows you to generate unique passwords. You can specify the characters that will be used in the passwords and set any password length. For the unregistered copy of the program password length can be set up to 5 symbols only, and in the registered version this value is up to two thousand symbols.
- All your data can be decrypted only by using an open key (a User Password) which is set up by you and with the help of which all the records are encrypted and decrypted. ElitePassword determines automatically due to checksum algorithms if a wrong user password was specified, preventing data loss.
After you started ELite Password at first time you are to choose a User Password which will be used for data encryption and decryption next time.
