The main idea of the game is to obtain as much scores as you can. To do this you are to gather 5 or more balls of the same color in lines - vertical, horizontal or diagonal. After you gathered 5 or more balls of the same color in a line they will dissapear and you will get scores according in the order of:

If your copy of Elite Lines is registered you can get to the Game options form by choosing Options on the touchscreen (or by the special buttob) of your device.
This form allows you to set up game difficulty. There are four different difficulty levels: - Easy. Three balls will appear each game turn and a joker-ball can appear on the game field. Joker is a multicolor ball which can be used as any colored ball - green, yellow, red, white, etc.
- Normal. Three balls will appear each turn, no joker present.
- Hard. Four balls each turn with joker.
- Nightmare. Four balls each turn without joker.
In the unregistered version of the game the fourth difficulty level (Nightmare) is set up automatically. No other difficulty levels available.
By the removing balls which are set up in the line you can make the next turn without balls having been added randomly on the game field. If you do not remove a line of the balls in the current turn, the next 3 or 4 (depending on chosen difficulty level) balls will appear randomly on the game field. The game ends when there is no free space for the next balls to appear. When the game is ended your name can be saved in Highscores table, which contains the 8 best players with their high-scores.
To choose a ball on the game field you must tap on it. The ball you have chosen will look at you with big animated eyes. If you have chosen a wrong ball or you have decided to choose another one just tap on another ball on the game field.
To move the ball you are to choose it and tap on any free place on the game field. The balls can move only to the left, to the right, up and down - no diagonal movement can be made. If the ball can move the specified free space it will dissapear in the previous place and will appear at the specified place.
During the game you can preview Highscores table, Register your unregistered copy of the Elite Lines, restart the game and quit to the Palm Applications folder screen.
If your copy of Elite Lines is not registered, the program will function in the demo-mode (you will wait 10 seconds until the game starts).
