| | | | | DataSafe 9210 Publisher's Description DataSafe 9210 for Nokia Communicator DataSafe 9210 is a small shareware programm which allows easy access to secret data. Everybody knows the problem that you have a lot of PINs, passwords, user names and other secret data, but you cannot bear all in mind. So you often use the same password for many things, but the security is gone, or you write everything down, but this is not recommended to do with PIN or TANs. Because of this situation I wrote this application for the Nokia 92xx communicator. The data is encrypted with the password you choose. Data Safe uses the Twofish encryption algorithm. In contrary to other security programms for 92xx, where no encryption algorithm is mentioned, you can inform yourself about the security of the used algorithm. It is necessary that you use a password with minimum 8 characters to have enought security for your data. Usage: In the main view you have at the left side the categories and on the other side the data. (in the unregistered version you have only 2 categories) To prevent others to see your data in case of not closing the application the screensaver will be active after some time. For copy and paste you can use the standart key combinations: Ctrl+C copy, Ctrl+ v paste und Ctrl+ x cut. To get all categories the order you want, the categories are not sorted. You can change the order manually. If you want to backup your data to a PC you can copy the file datasafe.dat (located in ?/system/data, where ? is Communicator or MMC) directly to your PC. Use the PC suite for this.
The money I get for the registration is completely spended to a school for children with learning difficulties, where my wife is teacher. At the moment I have spended 5250 Eur to this school, so thanks to all that have registered my DataSafe.
NOTE for purchasing Datasafe: Enter as Symbian ID the IMEI of you phone. (press *#06# at the phone to get the IMEI) Do not use any additional characters, only the 15 digits, then the code will be calculated immediately. | | | | | Download DataSafe 9210 | Screenshots
