Task Manager for Nokia 9210(i)/9290 Publisher's Description | Task management functions can be used to close tasks which are active in the background. This is especially useful with tasks which once run, can't be closed in any other way: Messaging, Internet, Calendar, Contacts, etc. Closing such tasks frees operating memory and allows starting other applications. Tasks which cannot be closed this way can be ""killed"" using Shift + End task button.
The software reboot function can be used instead of removing the battery - all you have to do is to open TaskManager's window and select ""Reset Machine"" function in Options dialog. Software reboot is much more convenient and, additionally, it saves the battery and Communicator's casing.
Task Manager integrates with the system and is fully transparent during normal work. TaskManager's window is invoked with Desk button (pressing Desk one more time hides Task Manager opens Desk screen). Accessing Task Manager this way is very quick and convenient.
Task Manager features two more interesting functions: - One can switch between active applications using Ctrl+Space (or ""backwards"" with Ctrl+Shift+Space)
- There is an information about free operating (SDRAM) memory displayed in Options window. This is a very useful information, especially that it is not shown by Memory application.
