If you are then PocketPreop is the ideal program for you. The program is structured around a standard H&P but focuses on clinical findings that can affect surgical risk. The program uses check boxes and radio buttons so that you can quickly collect clinical data. Pre-formatted texts are produced from the selections to save you time. Risk indices and guidelines from the ACP, ACC/AHA, and ACCP are integrated within the program so you don?t have to hunt around for those references. The program also offers recommendations on perioperative management of diabetes, stress dose steroids, DVT prophylaxis, and anticoagulation. The final report can be saved in a text format for final editing and printing on a desktop PC. Simply export the text file from your \my documents folder to your desktop.

This is a single user, single use program. You must complete and save your report before starting a new report. You must complete and save your report before closing out the program or else all the data will be lost. Pocket PCs do allow you to multitask so you can switch to other programs and return the PocketPreop without losing your data.
