DatacompressionCE ActiveX Publisher's Description | DatacompressionCE is a set of two ActiveX / COM component written in ATLCE for the PocketPC. It provides data compression in Windows CE from embedded Visual Basic and embedded Visual C++. DatacompressionCE compresses and uncompresses an entire file given the input filename and output filename. DatacompressionCE contains two ActiveX / COM components, each of them providing a different algorithm of compression. The ZlibCE component uses Zlib (http://www.gzip.org/zlib) and Libbz2CE component uses libbz2 (http://sources.redhat.com/bzip2/). These are widely spread, public and highly portable algorithms with a long proven efficiency. eVB sample code is included both in trial and full version. When you buy this software you receive unlimited license to redistribute this ActiveX with your application. You can reuse it in as many projects as you like. You buy it one time and use it forever. The trial version provided for this product will expire in 30 days. If you need desktop/server connectivity then maybe you'd like to take a look at the Datacompression Suite, which contains a similar component for desktop/server making it easy to compress on the pda and uncompress on the desktop/server or the other way around. | | | | |
