The file is based on current medical literature and describes normal events of menopause with an in depth discussion of hormone replacement therapy, focusing on the benefits and risks of HRT, side effects, the role of progesterone in HRT, transdermal hormone replacement therapy, testosterone issues, and low dose hormone replacement therapy. Included with the full version is a table with all the various forms of HRT and an appendix describing osteoporosis, its diagnosis and managment in depth. The file is in the DOC format and thus requires installation on the handheld computer of a program which can display files in the DOC format (such as AportisDoc, SmartDoc, TealDoc, CSpotRun, etc.).
