| | | | | Criss Cross Sums Publisher's Description Criss Cross Sums is a puzzle that is similar to traditional crossword puzzles, using numbers instead of letters. The entries to a crossword puzzle form a word, whereas the digits in a criss cross sum puzzle adds up to a particular sum. The sums, or clues, are in the gray squares of the puzzle to the left of an across number or above a down number.
Example of two numbers in a gray square: 21 09
This means that all the numbers to the right of the square, in between other gray squares, add up to 21. i.e. 21 - 9 3 2 7, i.e. 09 - 3 6
Important Strategy: No number can contain the same two digits and every digit is between 1 - 9.
Only 1 game can be saved at a time. If you generate a new puzzle, the current saved game gets erased.
Criss Cross Sum generates new puzzles using mathematical algorithms. There is not a database of puzzles. That means that an almost infinite number of puzzles can be created. Tap the help button on the grid page for more instructions.
