| | | | | EMERGENCY! Publisher's Description EMERGENCY! was developed to provide vital information to the user in the shortest possible time.
The emphasis: Minimize the time it takes for a user in a high-stress situation to IDENTIFY, LAUNCH, and ACCESS vital information. Optimization is achieved through the use of a specialized user interface, data storage, and data retrieval system.
Device Resources Used: Less than 28K
The varied uses of EMERGENCY! range from simply providing a highly visible 'IF LOST' screen, to specialized instructional notes (such as medication routines, emergency routines, work instructions) even longer term situations such as patient care (ill loved ones, elderly) child care instructions, quick-access phone numbers, etc.
Information access is quick. There are no files or directories to search for, no menus to poke through. A single pop of a button instantly* brings up the EMERGENCY! main screen and displays the information.
* Pop 'n Swap must be enabled with the progam loaded, or a hardware launch button must be manually assigned.
Some of EMERGENCY!'s highlights: - Features the Trittium QuickButton(tm) Style interface--eliminates the time-robbing search through directories or menus for data access.
- Highly visible ALERT style program launch icon and main panel to enhance recognition in times of stress or confusion.
- Single button 'copy' on main screen sends content to device clipboard. This allows the data to be inserted into other applications for archival purposes, or to print out a reference hard copy for distribution.
- Hardware Pop 'n Swap(tm). Hardware button is chosen in a simple menu. Includes an automatic software release of button when EMERGENCY! is exited.
- Floating window technology allows access to other data--Move the EMERGENCY! display to a convenient place on your device screen. Can even drag the panel off the bottom of screen, freeing over 90% of the viewable area.
- Very small memory requirement. Can remain in background memory without hindering other programs.
- Maximum entry size: About 2000 characters, including spaces.
(Note: A minimal registration fee is charged to help cover distribution costs.)
