This chart can used as a tool for those who need to regulate their carbohydrate, fat, and sodium intake and specific diet plans. This information is provided by www.usda.gov Version 1 - Simple Listing of 900 foods by letter of the alphabet Version 2 - This version allows you to keep track of your daily nutrition intake. You can do this by selecting an item and then pushing the track button. Select as many items to track as you want and then save it to a calendar date or just use it to gauge and view your nutrition intake. Version 3 - Expanded database to include over 3800 food items. Write and filter search capability. Foods now categorized by food type including Baked Products, Beef Products, Beverages,Breakfast Cereals,Cereal Grains and Pasta,Dairy and Egg Products,Fast Foods,Fats and Oils, Finfish and Shellfish Products,Fruits and Fruit Juices, Lamb, Veal, and Game Products,Legumes and Legume Products, Meals, Entrees, and Sidedishes,Nut and Seed Products,Pork Products,Poultry Products,Sausages and Luncheon Meats, Snacks, Spices and Herbs, Soups, Sauces, and Gravies, Sweets,Vegetables and Vegetable Products. Multiplier function to allow user to increment servings or decrease servings by fractions. Version 3.0.1 Added the ability to add your own food items. Changed the arrow icons. Choose a date on the tracker database is now a prompt window instead of requiring the user to enter it manually. Version 4.0.0.
Now includes calories! The abbreviated descriptions have been replaced by long, lower case descriptions to allow easier reading. Saturated Fat has been replaced by Total Fat. Food items have been increased from 3800 to 4500 so database size has grown a little.
