| | LanBuster is a very small program which runs in the system tray. It is designed to provide a quick way of allowing or cutting access to your computer's shared resources.
When 'LanBuster' is running, you get to see an icon in the system tray. This icon will either be green, if file sharing is enabled, yellow, if it is in the process of changing state (from green to red or the other way around) or red if file sharing is disabled.
The program has no proper interface. In order to use it, you can right click the icon and choose your options. In order to quickly start or stop file sharing, you'll only need to double click the icon from the system tray.
Pluses: You can turn on and off sharing of files on a local area network very rapidly.
Drawbacks / flaws: .
In conclusion: It is very easy to use and helps you when you need to instantly shut down file sharing on the network.
