 | | Essential NetTools is a set tool that allows you to control your network connections. Very powerful and easy to use this software is useful in diagnosing networks and monitoring your computer's network connections. When you want to establish a network connection this software can make your work much easy. For example the share function can monitor and log external connections to your computer's shared resources, list local shares and let you connect to the remote resources.
The NetStat utility displays your computer's network connections and open ports. It can map open ports to the owning applications. NBScan is a fast NetBIOS and TCP port scanners. With this tool you can scan a class C network in less than a minute. NetAudit is a NetBIOS Auditing Tool for checking LAN security. It can also monitor external connections to your computer's shared resources and it can display information about all the programs and services running on your computer. Other useful tools implemented in the application are: Ping, TraceRoute, and NSLookup (you can convert with it IP addresses to hostnames and perform advanced DNS queries. NetTools can also generate reports in HTML, text, and comma delimited formats.
The actual version improves the NetStat, SNMPAudit functions (with it you can explore SNMP devices that are enabled). The ProcMon module displays in this version per-process CPU time allocation statistics and the RawSocket allows you to send non-printed chars.
