Photo Explorer provides an efficient way to acquire images from multiple sources , capture images or videos,browse, modify and publish digital media. You can acquire photos, video or sound clips from cameras, scanners, camera memory cards, the Internet. You can adjust your images by rotating them, cropping, changing contrast, balance, tone, hue, focus or lens distortion level, you can apply up to 12 image effect, from charcoal to wind. You can also remove the red eye effect, prepare pictures or text for email or printing, add sounds to image files.

Pluses: You can add your favorite files to zip archives and distribute digital media through e-mail, print, slideshow presentations or by burning it onto CD or DVD. You can browse for images, add them to a Favorites menu or search for your misplaced files with the aid of the inbuilt search section.

Drawbacks / flaws: In viewer mode there is no selectable option to view as slide show, unless previously created.
