If you need an MP3 editor you might try 'Audio MP3 Editor'. It's more than an editor for newbies but not as complicated as professional one.

You can edit an existing MP3 or you can record one by the help of the input of your audio card. You can also record a track from an online radio for example. You have to stop the music each time you want to make adjustments.
