urlShop is a bookmark manager that should be able to create snapshots of web pages. It doesn't work very well, so if you only need a good bookmark manager, be sure to try
Link Commander. As I said, urlShop should be able to capture snapshots of web pages, but sometimes it fails with an error message.
The user interface is similar to other bookmark managers. Your bookmarks are organized into a tree structure on the left side. The application doesn't support drag-and-drop from another application. You can, however, drag and drop categories from the tree structure. Another thing I don't like is the fact that there's no right-click menu for the left panel, so I had to add new bookmarks from the top menu.
I clicked one of the toolbar buttons by accident and one of my bookmarks was immediately deleted. I believe that the application should have warned me before deleting something, but it didn't. There's a "Format" entry on the main menu, but the settings you modify here are not synchronized with the toolbar. For example, when I changed the font size, the toolbar still displayed the old font size.
Pluses: You can import your bookmarks from Internet Explorer.
Drawbacks / flaws: Countless drawbacks make this program a bit unattractive for my taste.
In conclusion: urlShops needs some improvement, mostly of its user interface.
