Alteros 3D 2.81

'Alteros 3D' is a 3D/2D graphic file viewer, as well as an image editor. You can adjust the colors of a picture from the color adjustment window. Here you can also set the Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, and the RGB channels. In the preview area, you can set the size of thumbnail viewed. You have filters for file types as well, where you can set which type of files to see. You can also choose the sorting criteria for files (by date, by name, by type, or by size).

While testing the program I discovered that while viewing thumbnails, the files located on any other column besides the first one, had only the end of their name shown, if it was too long. In many cases, I couldn't figure out the name of the file. The only way to see the full name was on mouse over. Then I tried to navigate the files, but a strange thing happened. Some files couldn't be shown in the preview area, although the thumbnail was all right. In these cases, the last picture previewed remained in the preview area and the only thing that changed was the size of the preview. The picture in the preview area wasn't modified. Therefore, if the new picture was bigger, the exceeding area was white and if it was smaller, the picture was cut to the new dimensions.

The interface isn't easy to understand, even if you paid attention to the tutorial showed at the beginning of the program.

Pluses: Interesting features.

Drawbacks / flaws: It has some stability issues.

In conclusion: The program seemed interesting. However, it had too many problems. I look forward for the next release and I hope it will be better.
