'PhotoMagic' can be actually defined as a collection of software. This collection features 'PhotoArtist Express', 'PhotoClean Express', 'PhotoEffect Express', 'PhotoZoom', and 'PhotoPrint'.
I won't talk about 'PhotoArtist Express' because I already did in a previous
review. As for PhotoClean Express', as the name suggests, it help you clean your photos by removing dead pixels, reducing noise or color correction, lens correction and gamma correction. The 'PhotoEffect Express' is a library of effects. Here you can find 29 groups of effects which you can test, use, and combine in order to obtain the desired results.
The 2 remaining programs are 'PhotoZoom' and 'PhotoPrint'. The first one is especially designed for the 'image processing professional' as the producer suggests. The producer also claims that this software is able to 'render true to life image magnifications, without the serrated edges yet perfectly focused, without any loss of quality'. It was very interesting to test this feature. The second software, 'PhotoPrint', as the name suggest, is responsible for printing your photos. Unfortunately there are only 3 options for the layout.
The user interface is almost the same for each one of these programs and it's a pretty good one. They are easy to use but not too intuitive.
Pluses: It offers lots of nice effects and many features.
Drawbacks / flaws: In conclusion: If you like to add effects to your pictures or to print them in big poster size you might consider testing this program.
