| | 'PhotoArtist' is an interesting software which can help you achieve incredible results after procesing your photos. With this software you can add stunning effects to your photos. The results are very interesting. Keep in mind thou that you might need to go through the 'Help' file in order to fully understand the features of this program. It is very easy to use but no very intuitive. After you discover its features you'll see that there's no big deal in using it. After selecting the photo you want to use, you need to select the filter you're gonna use, the blending mode, the opacity, and last, but not the least important, the brush size.
This selections caused me some problems while testing the program because each time I tried to change it the program's window loses its focus and the previous used window was brought in focus. It was strange though. I have to admit that I am impressed by this program. You can turn your photos in some impressive oil paintings, paper drawings, etc by using the available filters.
The user interface is simple and easy to use.
Pluses: It's simple program which offers impressive results.
Drawbacks / flaws: That loss of focus is very frustrating.
In conclusion: I think I'm gonna print out some of my modified photos. I hope that the focus problem will be fixed until the next release. Fell free to test it. I'm pretty sure you'll like it.
