 | | Advanced WindowsCare Personal is a system utility designed to prevent system crashes, to protect your system against malware and to optimize and maintain your PC in order to keep it running at it's peak level of performance.
The program is free for personal use; it's suitable for beginners as well as for advanced users. The interface is nicely designed and makes the program very easy to use. From the main window, you can clean your system of junk or harmful data ('Spyware Removal', 'Junk Files Clean'), protect your privacy and prevent spyware from being installed on your PC ('Privacy Sweep', 'Security Defense') and you can optimize your system and fix errors ('Registry Fix', 'System Optimization', 'Startup Manage'). The program will also display complete system information.
Besides these tools, there are also some extra tools designed to manage your startup items, add-ons and a memory cleaner. What I liked the most was the add-ons management tool. This tools also allows you to view all the running processes, to view all TCP/UDP ports, to uninstall programs and manage cookies. The negative aspect is that the right click was disabled so, I could only view items.
The program features a 'Restore Center' where you can perform backups and restore the system to a previous state, in case the changes you made created system instability.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: This version, compared to the 'Professional' version, lacks some features: there's no possibility to update the database (this might render the security defense ineffective) and you can't schedule the program to perform automated tasks.
In conclusion: This is a very good system utility, but, in order to get the best solution it is recommendable to upgrade to the 'Professional' (paid) version.
