| | Easy2Sync for Files enables you to synchronize files or entire directories. The program also supports synchronization over FTP. The freeware version, which you can download from our website, only allows you to define a single synchronization task. This is sometimes not enough, but you can always buy the program in order to remove this limitation.
The application can synchronize folders recursively and it supports an unlimited number of files. You can set filters in order to exclude certain files from the synchronization operation. It's also possible to set the program to copy (without checking) the contents of a folder to another folder, computer, or FTP server.
When you start the program, a nice wizard appears. It can help you configure the synchronization/copy task. An original feature, which I haven't seen in other similar applications is the fact that Easy2Sync for Files is able to synchronize NTFS permissions.
Pluses: If you access the program's options dialog, you can set which applications should be closed before a task begins. This is useful, because certain applications may lock your files, blocking the synchronization. Another nice thing about this software is the fact that it can be installed as a service, so it can be configured to run synchronization tasks any time you want (based on a schedule).
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: I like this program's features. It allowed me to perform every type of synchronization I could think of. However, I wrote this review for the free version, so it only gets 4 out of 5 for features.
